AHMM developed the masterplan and overall landscape design to unify the campus by enhancing the public realm, strengthening pedestrian connections across and beyond the site and creating a setting in which to host a rotating programme of public artworks.
MRG Studio were appointed to design the soft landscape to support and complement the masterplan aims. We varied the scales of planting to bring the open spaces into human, pedestrian scales, and used different types of planting to speak to the site’s natural and industrial history.
